Bio: Alyssa was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. Growing up in one of the most libertarian states in the nation, she was able to meet many people in her community dedicated to the cause of liberty. In her second year of college she joined the newly formed College Libertarians and soon after became the Vice-President. The club became one of the most active clubs on campus, inciting interest from students as well as interested members from the community, and even UNR staff. In late 2007, Alyssa got involved in the Ron Paul for president campaign in her town and became a dedicated volunteer. She was elected as a Caucus Precinct Captain, County Delegate, and State Delegate. She served on the Credentials Committee, and as the Resolution Committee chair at the reconvening of the Nevada Republican Convention.

Alyssa is currently a Junior at the University of Nevada, Reno, majoring in Journalism and Economics.
