Bio: Pin-Quan is a rising junior John W. Kluge scholar at Columbia University majoring in economics and political science. His research interests are in social enterprises, transition economies, and global development, and he has worked in management consulting, foreign policy research, and microfinance. A native of Singapore, where he served two years of mandatory military service, he has an instinctive appreciation of the value of freedom.
