Bio: William is a junior at Northwood University where he majors in economics. He is co-captain of Northwood’s nationally ranked Mock Trial team and a member of Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity. William became interested in libertarian political philosophy after being directed to the Cato Institute and works of Milton Friedman while in high school. He was further influenced by professors in the economics department at Northwood University and the writings of F.A. Hayek and Ludwig von Mises.
William spent a summer interning at the Foundation for Economic Education and currently works in fiscal policy and campus leadership at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy in Michigan. William plans to spend his career advocating for freedom.
