Our Mission:

Students For Liberty is a rapidly growing network of pro-liberty students from all over the world. Our mission is to educate, develop, and empower the next generation of leaders of liberty. We are the largest pro-liberty student organization in the world. We accomplish this through a strategy of empowerment, identifying the top student leaders and training them to be agents of change in their communities. Last year, we organized more than 500 events with 30,000 attendees.

Job Summary

Estudiantes por la Libertad (EsLibertad), a region within Students For Liberty, is now looking for a Programs Associate who will work part-time on the events and groups management of a network that includes 14+ countries and 200+ leaders. The position is open immediately.

The Programs Associate will be responsible for promoting and supporting events done by our leaders, help collect and organize data of these events and coordinate all regional communications teams.

The Associate will also be in charge of co-managing and providing support to EsLibertad’s local groups and foster the creation of new groups within the region. The position is based in Spanish Speaking Americas and may require travel throughout the region.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and promote events done in the region.
  • Develop tools and procedures that enhance event quality and impact.
  • Ensure event reporting regarding events in the region.
  • Train and consult student leadership in effective planning and execution of campus events, regional conferences, retreats, and leadership fora.
  • Manage and support the creation of local groups within the region.
  • Prompt and facilitate new student projects and programs.

Qualities of an Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in volunteer or people management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Creative approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work autonomously with entrepreneurial drive.
  • Full proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor Degree required.
  • Knowledge of the effective use of Social Media platforms.
  • High proficiency with Google Productivity Suite.
  • Ability to build and manage spreadsheets to track data.
