  European Students For Liberty JULY 2017 UPDATE ESFL Eastern Europe Retreat The future of liberty in Eastern Europe is bright. On the 16-19th of July, Ukrainian Students for Liberty hosted the very first European Students for Liberty Eastern European Retreat (EER), which gathered 30 brightest advocates of liberty from 4 countries and 8 biggest Ukrainian regions. The four-day long retreat held in a small village on the outskirts of Kyiv marked the beginning of a close cooperation between the leaders of today and tomorrow and resulted in a number of great ideas about making this world a better place to live in. Weekend of Capitalism – November 18-19

On 18-19th November, ESFL Poland proudly presents its Weekend of Capitalism at the Warsaw School of Economics. Capitalism, which mechanisms created vast amount of wealth and brought millions of people out of poverty, is one of the most condemned concept in modern world. People of good will can’t allow such depreciation. During November weekend in Warsaw, we stand proud for defending individual rights and freedom. Maastricht Students for Liberty’s Peace Conference – November 4th

On Saturday 4th November, Maastricht Students For Liberty proudly presents its Peace Conference. Peace is not an impractical fantasy. And Peace also does not entail downsides for liberty nor prosperity. The Parliament of the European Union is calling for longer lifetimes for products, once again meaning more regulations to defend the well-being of European consumers. At least that’s what they say. While regulations provide artificial incentives for people to act in certain ways, often intended to cause a generally positive reaction , policy makers forget about the unintended consequences of their regulations and are often unable or unwilling to see the side effects of their bureaucracy on the economy. ESFL Startup Camp Lviv – August 17-21

The main idea of ESFL Startup Camp is to bring together most forward-thinking and innovative students. We are going to learn, debate and innovate around such topics as libertarian values, individual freedoms, free market, blockchain, cryptoworld, transhumanism, and cybersecurity. Our speakers will present you with real life examples of people who changed their societies and who put all their efforts in promoting core principles of individual freedoms. At the end of the camp, each student will be able to present a project describing their blockchain based business idea which will change our society and make it a freer place to live. Besides that, we plan on having a lot of fun! Get prepared for the underground excursions, shooting range, rooftop party and many more!
