Bio: Kirtika is a budding Social worker, born and brought up in Delhi, calls herself an environmentalist, and works in a village to bring happiness in lives of the people. She completed her graduation with a honours degree in Political Science from Delhi University, where she first came across the readings of thinkers, right from Plato to Machiavelli and from Marx to Mill. She was moved by different ideas of a perfect society. After Graduation she decided to herself be the change she wishes to see and therefore is now pursuing her Post-graduation in Social Work.
On liberty: She comes from a college which glorifies poverty and believes that Communism is the way out of this clout, but she has agreed to disagree and constructs her own opinions on society and economy. To her individual comes before the community in a society and trade is not a zero-sum game, it is a positive-sum game. Liberty to her is all about having the ability to freely express herself in all- personal, academic and professional fronts. She was moved by readings of Tom Palmer and Ken Schooland.
