Bio: I was born in the eastern hills of the Himalayan country Nepal. I grew up in the midst of violent communist civil war in the country. Luckily, my family managed to escape the insurgent-controlled village and arrived to Kathmandu. Despite financial struggles, my parents succeeded in providing for and educating me and my five siblings. After high school graduation, I joined a reputed college in Kathmandu for an physics degree but I lost interest and dropped out. I started taking jobs to support my parents. I taught in schools. I opened a tutoring center. In the meanwhile, I joined a liberal arts college and took six years to complete my BA degree. In 2014, I started giving motivational speeches and I also wrote and self-published a self-help book titled “”Get Ready to Win””. Finally, in 2015, after surviving a catastrophic 8 Richter Scale April earthquake, I moved to the US for my second bachelor’s degree, this time in psychology.
